/ Electro-Mechanical Technician.

Description:
Function
# 1: Electronic technician requires to
perform installation, repair and maintenance on multi-axis motion
control systems. Requires electronic, electro-mechanical and
software support skills. Troubleshoots PC computers and peripherals
connected in a networking environment. Ability to be organized,
prompt, professional and efficient with an excellent attention
to detail. Ability to assess problems and provide problem solving
techniques. Must have good overall electrical and controls experience
such as knowledge of wiring, PLC's, relays, motors, sensors,
etc.
Function
# 2: Prior experience installing and maintaining Videojet,
Domino, Linx or other brand of CIJ-type marking and coding systems.
Videojet experience is preferred. Position requires frequent
printer interaction including printer interfacing, ink flushing
and replacing and preventative maintenance procedures in the
field.
Function
# 3: Assembly, set-up and testing of new customer orders.
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical assembly
drawings used in the construction of the company's products.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Demonstrated
manual dexterity as it relates to detailed assembly processes.
Ability to use hand tools and electronic test equipment such
as drills, presses, multimeters, oscilloscopes and soldering
equipment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Ability to work independently
and quickly with minimum supervision. Works closely with mechanical
and electrical design engineers providing feedback. Prior experience
with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD Electrical a definite plus.
Minimum
2 years experience. Some travel required. Bilingual/spanish
skills is a plus.
