USED SYSTEM “BUY-BACK” POLICY

JETEC Corporation, a worldwide supplier of Product Identification Solutions, understands that changes in our customers manufacturing strategies may result in the retiring or non-use of our product marking systems sometime in the future. JETEC has maintained a policy that, “NO JETEC SYSTEM SHALL BE KNOWINGLY SCRAPPED, JUNKED, CANNIBALIZED, STORED AS EXCESS EQUIPMENT OR TAKE UP IDLE SPACE WITHIN OUR CUSTOMER’S FACILITIES.

Upon notification of such system status JETEC will take all appropriate steps to

(a) assist JETEC customer in finding a secondary buyer, or
(b) offer equitable trade-in value for upgrade to new JETEC marking system, or
(c) buy-back JETEC system*.

Assist Customer in Finding a Secondary Buyer

Since all JETEC systems are assembled using quality components with long duty cycles your retired system may be just the system needed within another manufacturer’s product marking operation. JETEC can assist you in finding a secondary buyer for your system. Using our web site, customer mailing campaign and normal system selling channels, in most cases, we can find a qualified buyer for your system. In doing so, we request a 50/50 share of all proceeds** from the sale of the retired JETEC system*.

Offer Equitable Trade-In Value for Upgrade to New JETEC Marking System

Should you wish to upgrade your product marking process with a new JETEC marking system we will offer an attractive trade-in on your existing JETEC system.

JETEC Will “Buy-Back” Your Existing JETEC Marking System

Depending on the operating condition of your existing JETEC system JETEC will, at its own discretion, buy-back your existing JETEC marking system. The buy-back value is generally 3% - 10% of the original purchase price. In most cases, JETEC will require that we first assist in finding a secondary buyer of your retired equipment for a period no less than 3 months before entertaining a direct factory buy-back.
